To keep myself happy

Yeah, in this stressed out time, we need some good things to think about. So I'm daydreaming about these list of things to do post result day:

  1. Drink the rest of the day off straight after the result announcement.
  2. Kildare village outlet shopping!!! Must get bargains in Karen Millen, Ralph Lauren, Jo Malone, and Levi's.
  3. A day in the spa and finally pamper myself with some girly stuff and luxurious body treatment.
  4. HAVE A BLOODY GOOD TIME!!!! It's long time coming and well deserved!!!!
Lalalalalalalalala...........

The Meeting on the Turret Stairs

I am in love with this painting by FW Burton. It is by far the most romantic painting I've came across. I'd prefer this rather than Monalisa (still don't understand the fuss about her). The royal blue clashing with fiery red, flowing clothes exude warmth in the cold turret stairs. The secret meeting couldn't last long for the lady's father had order her brothers to assassinate the knight in the chain armor. The despair, the longing, the sadness of love not meant to be and the truth knowing that they will still be together one day in the other world. How romantic is that!

Good Friday

I have a lot to be thankful about this Good Friday. All the blessing that I've received are impossible if Jesus didn't die for our sins. So, don't take things for granted. Everyday is a blessed day and God will guide us accordingly to His will. AMEN!

As for today, I'm speed reading AGAIN...this time it's Surgical Recall. PANIC is not my best friend by I'm starting to feel it. I don't like exams but there is no choice. 3 more weeks...then hopefully I'll officially be DR ???, LRCSPI MB BCh BAO! Next 3 weeks will see me running mad around the wards to practice Hx and Ex and presenting. Last minute boost is essential for the adrenaline. Countless sleepless nights has cause permanent panda eyes and the eye cream doesn't seems to work....I'm just too lazy to apply them on.

Well, I'm off to the National Gallery tomorrow hopefully to relax and feed my right brain with some art stimulation in order to balance with my left brain. Imbalance stimulation is not good. Studying science while listening to classical music is proven way to maximize the brain function and memory potential. I'm just gonna do that for the few remaining weeks!!! Fingers crossed!
