I am in love with this painting by FW Burton. It is by far the most romantic painting I've came across. I'd prefer this rather than Monalisa (still don't understand the fuss about her). The royal blue clashing with fiery red, flowing clothes exude warmth in the cold turret stairs. The secret meeting couldn't last long for the lady's father had order her brothers to assassinate the knight in the chain armor. The despair, the longing, the sadness of love not meant to be and the truth knowing that they will still be together one day in the other world. How romantic is that!Saturday, April 11, 2009
